Crimpers Cottage - Fowey

Staying in Fowey was like being in a fairy tale. The village, reachable through a picturesque one-way road, felt like a hidden gem. The highlight of my stay was visiting St Catherines Castle, a short distance from the charming accommodation. Exploring the castle, nestled on the coastline, I couldn't help but imagine myself as a knight defending the fortress.

Amazing location for exploring the village and local walks! Super close to shops, pubs, and the harbour. Courtyard is perfect for dining outside. Two bathrooms are a total game changer. Can't wait to come back every year! Free wi-fi, pet-friendly, and non-smoking.

The apartment was very clean and well-equipped, with a modern and nicely refurbished interior. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the town and within close walking distance to all the shops, pubs, restaurants, and harbor. We also enjoyed the small courtyard area where we could sit and relax in the fresh air.

The beds and pillows were not very comfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, as a pet-friendly location, the cleanliness could have been improved, as the hoover was not very effective at picking up after ourselves.

We had a great value for our money at this cozy little cottage in the heart of a beautiful Cornish village. The clean and spacious apartment had everything we needed for our family, including two bathrooms and a laundry room. The location was perfect, with shops, restaurants, and the harbor just a short walk away. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and we loved having the small terrace where we could enjoy meals.

The breakfast option could have been better, with more variety and freshly baked goods.

We appreciated the cleanliness and the convenience of having two bathrooms and a separate laundry room. The small terrace with a picnic bench was a lovely spot for breakfasts and evening meals. Despite a couple of minor drawbacks, we found Crimpers Cottage to be excellent value for money and would happily recommend it to others.

The car park was quite a walk away, but that's to be expected for such a central location.

This place is like a cozy little hideaway with a mix of vintage and modern vibes. It's got 2 bathrooms, so no more fighting for the shower! As a backpacker, I loved the relaxed atmosphere and the flexibility of having my own space.

I must admit, the one thing I wasn't too thrilled about was the lack of a view from the apartment. But hey, it's a personal thing, and some people might not even mind.
